Spitfire Company: Constellations II. Time for Sharing, 2019

A symbiosis of dance, impressive visual features and captivating music joined by three-dimensional sound. Coexistence on the borders of reality, magic and the imaginary.

Silhouettes of three women sitting on the steps of a small church. Perhaps the women are drinking tea. Perhaps they are listening to the wheat cracking. The summer has reached its peak. The church bell strikes desire. Time is waiting. Time is flying around. Time is expanding. Time is collapsing. Time remembers. Time is dreaming. The three women are experiencing the magical dimension of one weekday. Today, we all individually face a big challenge: to stop, to calm down in these insanely accelerated, hyper-technological times and open ourselves to the dimensions of the soul. Does it sound like a cliche? Paradox. We can‘t simply forget about a natural part of humans thanks to which they become happy, about the art of sharing. In the real sense, not virtually. The art of experiencing passionate beings dancing together. Everything can be magic, imagination, reality or dream. The borders of reality are crossed not only from one perspective, but from different angles and feelings.

“As in their previous productions Spitfire Company attacks very precisely the senses of the audience, sometimes with unbearable aggression of noises, light and motions creating atmosphere which is fascinating, exhausting as well as provoking.”

“They trespass the pure theatre world entering into the context of the most progressive contemporary European performing arts.”
