Research into the borders separating private and public space
Public space/ Private space / intimacy…
What does it mean for us now, in an age when new technologies such as public surveillance, the internet and social networks blur the borders between individual and shared spheres?
Blurring circus, dance and physical theater, the site-specific project OK(N)o questions the very notions of private and public space, attempting to identify the place where individual freedom can be found within these two areas.
OK(N)O is meant to be shown in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments and in different cities an under various forms. It plays with the idea of observing and being observed, which includes putting the audience in a position of both the observer and the observed and creating a «mise en abîme.»
Performance takes aprox. 30 minutes.
Premiere: 2nd 3rd October 2020, Studio Pram, Prague
